Bio-Innovation mural Pt.2

Update time...a few more snapshots of the work on the Bio-Innovation mural in Thebarton, South Australia.

This sizey mural, designed by Jimmy C and painted along with a number of assistant artists, was painted in honour of those South Australian's who have contributed significantly to scientific research in the area of Bio technology...Such as Nobel prize winner Howard Florey, the guy on our $50 note who discovered Penicillin. This is a historic mural for Adelaide, so I felt quite privileged to be a part of it.

Paint, oh paint, it's been too long...

Meet Barry Marshall and Robin Warren, these guys have Nobel prizes...
And Peter Doherty...He also has a Nobel prize.
I did NOT have fun with that shirt...

But he didn't seem to mind...Good ol' Pete just kept smiling.

All the scientists I painted are still alive I'm told...this is a worry.

I'M BACK!!!

It's been a while, but this young blood is back painting super-sized scientists, on a massive wall alongside local mural king (and mentor!) Jimmy C, and a few other well known South Australian aerosol heads...

Keep posted for more updates! It's huge!

OLD MURALS Part.3

Misty Brae dairy farm. Myponga, early 2007.

This mural was commissioned by Misty Brae Dairy Farm, and painted with Morris Green. They had seen our Tattoo Kings mural in Victor Harbour, and decided to have us do up their farm sheds for an upcoming cow festival...

Meet Oscar the farm cat:)

Oh - did I mention they liked the first one so much they asked us to do another?

Gallery Sitting @ The Fleurieu Biennale

Although I was unsuccessful in obtaining a spot in Australia's largest landscape prize this year, I was however given the consolation prize of gallery sitting for a couple of weeks...paid. Being surrounded by some of Australia's most promising art talent is proving inspiring. As you can no doubt see, its not a job for just any man...I've finally made it.
